Pro-Life Doctors Urge Incoming Trump Admin to Put Abortion Pills Under the Microscope

The American Association of Pro-Life OB-GYNS (AAPLOG) Action sent a letter Friday to GOP officials urging them to question President-elect Donald Trump’s nominees about their stance on late-term abortion and to investigate the safety of the abortion pill.

AAPLOG’s letter asks Republicans consider the importance of pro-life causes during the confirmation hearings of Dr. Marty Makary, the nominee to head the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, the nominee for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) director and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The organization called for the administration to revisit the safety of the abortion pill, which has already faced several legal challenges due to claims that numerous precautions were ignored in order to rush its approval.

Commentary: If You Care About Healthy Food, Confirm RFK Jr.

Mollie Engelhart, Robert F. Kennedy Jr

As a vegan chef turned regenerative cattle rancher, I’ve traversed the narrow divides between two worlds: the health-conscious, progressive enclaves of Los Angeles and the rugged, often misunderstood landscapes of rural Texas. For years, I lived and breathed the principles of organic farming and plant-based eating, firmly rooted in the belief that our food systems should be safe, resilient, and free from harmful chemicals. My community was predominantly left-leaning, passionate about clean water, food safety, and the dangers of over-medication. It felt like common sense.

HHS Pushes Child Gender Transitions with Threats of Suicide

Transgender youth

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is using “Suicide Prevention Awareness Month” this September to push the lie that transgender medical interventions stop children from committing suicide.

The Daily Signal obtained a newsletter the HHS sent on Friday sharing resources on suicide prevention for “LGBTQIA2S+ Youth.” The resources promote the idea that LGBTQ+ children are likely to commit suicide if they don’t receive irreversible gender transition procedures, like surgeries and hormone replacement regimens.

Group of immigrants at border

In 2014, Vice President Joe Biden was dispatched to Guatemala by President Barack Obama to implore Latin American countries and their citizens to stop smuggling unaccompanied children into the United States.

One Rule Has Saved Americans from Billions in Wasteful Government Spending

United States Capitol Building

A rule requiring the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to publish annual reports on wasteful spending has saved billions of taxpayer dollars since 2011, according to an Open the Books report released Wednesday.

Former Republican Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn amended the Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010 to require the GAO to include an investigation into duplicate spending between government entities in its annual report, which has saved the government $667.5 billion since its first report in 2011, according to Open the Books. Congress, however, had made efforts to stifle the GAO’s mission, threatening to cut its funding right after its first report, and has been the slowest to adopt the GAO’s waste-cutting recommendations.

FDA Knew ‘Gender Affirming’ Puberty Blockers Increase ‘Suicidality’ in 2017, Promotes Them Today

Five months before the Food and Drug Administration issued a health warning on puberty blockers widely used off-label to treat minors with gender confusion, undermining a Department of Health and Human Services office that claimed “early gender affirming care is crucial to overall health and well-being,” an FDA leader acknowledged other health concerns.

Pediatric patients exposed to “gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists,” most with central precocious puberty (CPP) and “a handful … transgender kids using the drugs off-label,” had an “increased risk of depression and suicidality, as well as increased seizure risk,” Division of General Endocrinology clinical team leader Shannon Sullivan told colleagues.

White House Flip-Flop on Transgender Surgery for Kids Prompts GOP Probe, NIH Hid Director’s Activism

Transgender

After a lawsuit revealed the federal government’s highest-ranking transgender official had successfully pressured the World Professional Association on Transgender Health to remove age limits for so-called gender-affirming care from its forthcoming standards in 2022, the Biden administration for the first time claimed it opposed surgery for gender-confused minors.

Activist outrage ensured the clarity didn’t last long, prompting the Congressional Anti-Woke Caucus on Tuesday to demand the Department of Health and Human Services specify exactly what procedures it considers “safe and effective” for children who identify as the opposite sex or otherwise want to change their bodies to align with their gender identity.

Whistleblowers Detail Harrowing Failure to Protect Migrant Children Pouring into U.S. Under Biden
