Former President Donald Trump is ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris in all of the top swing states as the end of the presidential race draws closer, according new RealClearPolitics polling averages.

Trump has a 0.8 point lead pulling 48.3% support across seven key battleground states compared to Harris at 47.5%, according to the polling averages. The Republican presidential nominee is ahead of Harris in the states of Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Nevada. on October 16, 2024 in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania.

Counting or certification of the November election results are likely to be delayed nationwide, as states are promulgating different rules on receiving mail ballots, ongoing and likely election litigation, and possible investigations over irregularities, warns an election integrity proponent.

As the 2020 election results were delayed until Joe Biden was announced the winner of the presidential race the Saturday after Election Day, there will likely also be a delay in announcing this year’s presidential contest. The delays this year could be the result of a variety of factors, especially with such a close election, according to Honest Elections Project Executive Director Jason Snead.

Polling data increasingly shows former President Donald Trump gaining ground on Vice President Kamala Harris in both the national race and in key battlegrounds, suggesting that her debate performance has not fundamentally altered the race.

The latest New York Times/Siena College poll shows the pair are tied at 47% support among likely voters nationwide. The current RealClearPolitics polling average shows Harris with a 1.9% lead, roughly where it has sat for all of September.

While those lawsuits started as losses for him, upon appeal, Kennedy has seen success in removing his name from some of the ballots.

Following his withdrawal from the presidential race and endorsement of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, Kennedy has tried to get his name removed from presidential ballots in swing states. However, in some of those states, Democrats have attempted to prevent him from doing so, even after they had initially tried to keep him from being placed on the ballot.

New American Greatness Poll: Battlegrounds Are a Dead Heat

Brand new polling across the battleground states shows that Biden’s exit has tightened the presidential race, with Kamala Harris at a narrow 47-46 percent advantage in a head-to-head matchup, with 7 percent undecided. Harris is also +1 percent in a multi-candidate ballot test across the battlegrounds.

The American Greatness poll was conducted by North Star Opinion Research and interviewed 1400 likely voters, 200 per state in Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina.
