President Donald Trump said that if the U.S. takes over the Gaza Strip and rebuilds it, Palestinians won’t have the right to return to the region. 

“No, they wouldn’t, because they’re going to have much better housing … much better,” Trump said during an interview with Fox News that was pre-taped on Saturday and aired Monday.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) handed out $59 million to “luxury” hotels in New York City to house illegal migrants, Elon Musk said Monday.

Musk — who leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a temporary agency within the Trump administration tasked with weeding out frivolous spending by the federal government — said it was his DOGE team that made the discovery. The top White House official said the payment was in violation of President Donald Trump’s executive order and efforts would be made to recover the funds.

Federal Court Blocks Trump Administration from Sending Venezuelan Migrants to Guantanamo Bay

A federal court has temporarily blocked the Trump administration from sending three Venezuelan migrants to the U.S. detention facility at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba.

The decision Sunday by a U.S. District Court judge in New Mexico, where the migrants are being held, is in response to a legal filing by their lawyers that argues, “the mere uncertainty the government has created surrounding the availability of legal process and counsel access [at Guantanamo] is sufficient to authorize the modest injunction.”
